Hospice is a program of palliative care and supportive services for terminally ill patients and their families. Our interdisciplinary team works together to provide individualized, quality care to each individual that we serve. Volunteers and interns are an important part of this team that helps to bring a personalized and compassionate aspect to the care that is provided. There are many ways to offer support, including but not limited to the following: visiting with patients and their families directly to provide social and companionship visits, assisting in administrative tasks, attending and planning activities and events, and helping with community outreach.
